We are looking for individuals to join our team at LEFTA Systems. Below are the positions currently open:

Sales Representative (Remote)

Full Time (40hrs) or;
Part Time (15-20hrs) if actively employed as a First Responder

Job Overview:
This is a highly visible position having direct contact with current and future clients primarily via the telephone. Understanding government departments (i.e. Police and Fire) and ability to learn our software is a must. While the company is headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, this is a remote position for candidates possessing the proper experience, professionalism and dedication. You will be responsible for making contacts with government agencies and conducting new business in the territory to which you are assigned. Competitive compensation and benefits package including health insurance, paid time off and a retirement plan is available for full time position.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling and networking. You will be sourcing and reaching out to law enforcement and other first responder decision makers daily.
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers, which will require having an understanding of client requirements and LEFTA Systems products.
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.

Requirements:

  • Previous law enforcement/fire department experience or previous experience selling to government
  • Ability to work remotely in a quiet work environment
  • BS/BA degree equivalent or higher
  • Ability to quickly learn the features and benefits of LEFTA Systems software products
  • Confident, driven, self-starter who is professional with a positive view of challenging work
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills (phone and written)
  • Ability to travel 1-3 times per year within the United States

Content Writer (Remote)

Part Time (1-3 articles per month)

Job Overview:
We are looking for a part time remote Content Writer to join our editorial team and enrich our brand with new content in the law enforcement industry. If you are a strong writer, have vast knowledge about law enforcement, and are detail oriented, then we would like to meet you. Ultimately, you will deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to the law enforcement community and boost brand awareness.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Research Law Enforcement industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
  • Submit work to editors for input and approval
  • Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics

Requirements:

  • Expert in law enforcement topics (ex. Field Training, Use of Force, Training, Profiling, or high liability areas in law enforcement)
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • BS/BA degree equivalent or higher
