Through the SHIELD Suite Platform, Santa Clara PD Provides Transparency and Protects Community with Honor, Integrity and Respect
SANTA CLARA, Calif. Through an early warning system and statistical reporting, the SHIELD Suite Platform includes applications that enable the Santa Clara PD to better monitor field training, document use-of-force incidents, conduct internal investigations and more. The SHIELD Suite Platform also integrates with California’s Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training and meets full compliance with reporting specifics mandated by California’s Racial and Identity Profiling Act (RIPA).
