JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (December 8, 2020) – LEFTA Systems, the industry leader for law enforcement internal documentation processes and applications, today announced the launch of SHIELD University, an online platform that educates law enforcement officers on how to report training, employee and incident documentation digitally using LEFTA Systems’ SHIELD SUITE. Available to client agencies, SHIELD University is available to officers within a force, where they can access webinars on topics such as how to use a specific application, how to pull statistics and how to identify potential issues to mitigate future problems.

“The law enforcement industry is driven by the collection and application of documentation that paves the way to change, growth, unification and transparency,” said Bryan Selzer, CEO and founder, LEFTA Systems. “When officers are equipped with the expertise on how best to utilize our applications, agencies are able to fulfill their ultimate purpose of serving, protecting and honoring their respective communities.”

SHIELD University currently offers 24 courses and webinars, and the schedule will expand to include courses specific to each application, which will ensure frequent support topics are addressed. Webinars are pre-recorded and administered live by a Training Specialist who audits and responds to the live Q&A feed. Reservation spaces are available on a first-come first-served basis.
